This qualified us for the Rookie All-Star Award. This prestigious award is given to a first-year team that best personifies the mission of FIRST of spreading the message of science and technology, and also shows the most achievements reached. We won this award due to our team's showcase of a "young but effective leadership" and our innovative methods of spreading the FIRST message and our winning message - of advancing women in science and technology - as an all-girls team.
